Alex is a 2007 17.2hh heterozygous black tobiano Spotted Draft Horse stallion. I purchased him specifically to breed for Crossbreds. He is available for drafts, of course, but really looking forward to breeding him to lighter mares for Sport or Mountain Horse purposes! He has the perfect build to compliment lighter mares, good bone and substance without being heavy or clunky. More modern build vs the pulling bred drafts. Alex is very elegant and refined. He throws well marked and quiet foals that are easy to work with. I did get a chance to see a daughter of his started under harness. Alex has some great Percherons on his pedigree that have made great broodmares and hitch horses. He is registered as a premium draft.
We will have spotted draft horse foals available in the spring of 2021.
